This is the best podcast that covers all the teams.

Jonathan Marchessault had a natural hat trick in last years cup run against the oilers in game 6.
  • K reider, who scored all three of his goals in succession in the final frame, became the third player in NHL history to record a third-period hat trick that included a series-clinching goal, joining Jake Guentzel in Game 6 of 2018 First Round and Jack Darragh in Game 5 of 1920 Stanley Cup Final.3 hours ago

If you consistently did NOT call that charging penalty all season, why in the blue hell would you call it all of a sudden?
  • jumping into a player for charging requires movement laterally.. jumping up vertically is not into someone..
  • @Zeneroth
That Petterson penalty was confounding for sure. I read the rules, the rule does mention jumping, but also mentions if you are going towards the target. The spirit of the rule seems to me that if you are jumping into someone in conjunction of traveling towards someone at excessive speeds. However the jumping specific part is a little abigious, might need to update the rule book after that one, cuz it seems like a whole lot of bullshit. Elliotte was saying call it interference, I mean how can they call it interference then Petterson was stationary and he was going to be hit. Glad the Canucks could over come that call, I would suck to loss on one like that.

I look forward to every episode of this show. Your insights and the energy in your voices are fantastic. Great job to your entire team!
  • That Matheson hit on young Petey, wasn’t a hit. He grabbed him and threw him to the ice.
  • @kevvymetal666
How the f is that interference ?? The Oiler was throwing a hit at Petey (who just had puck). Petey braced for the hit. That was a brutal call.
  • Even if the Pettersson peno is legally correct by the law of the land ... that's an action that should not be penalized AT ALL. The Edmonton player is the one who engaged and initiated contact! The player being hit should be able to do anything they want short of high sticking or sucker punching the oncoming player to defend themselves. It's just a BAD rule if it even is one. Take it out.

In my opinion the Petterson penalty was Interference on Vancouver and Charging on Edmonton.

Jesperi K offer sheet was based on small mindedness and spite. Egg on Dundon's face is super funny.

Every year Carolina is missing a goalie and every year they refuse to get one. Like Edmonton! Now, let's hear Analytics Guy tell us goalies don't matter!

If Petey would get an interference penalty instead of charging, would the Oiler player get an interference for finishing the hit? Petey got rid of the puck by then. Such a bad call.
