Recorded near Flaine / Sixt in Grand Massif resort on helmet camera with a Go Pro 8 HD camera on 10th March 2022 on a clear and sunny day when snow had started to melt. The slope was called Cascade Experience 14km and ends up in Sixt. There was one area 16 min 30 sec in where the snow had melted and I nearly fell much to my friends amusement!

It's a pretty long run and is worth skiing at least once. Downsides are flat portions and a half-hour bus ride at the end to the nearest lift. There may be a queue for the bus. You should start skiing down this run no later than 13 o'clock, in order to have enough time to get back to Flaine or wherever you stay at the resort.

I'd hate to go along that hair pinned run when it is busy.

On the way there this winter. From all the videos I've seen so far, it looks great. Besides all the boarders stopping at the narrow slow signs 😉😂
  • Was this last month? The conditions look great! It is a great run, even if you do stop, you just really don't mind being where you are! Kind of want a restaurant/bar half way down though (rather than just at the bottom)

Went down there one year and some of the piste had small stones on it. Completely ruined my skis 😢
  • Hello, would you be so kind to answer me . Is "cascades" the real blue and it is good for beginners?

What month was this? The top slopes look great but the bottom ones... Not so much.
