Funny how he didn't scream when he first saw you...just came from the dog park and quietly wagged his tail. Didn't scream when you visited daily at the shelter. Nope , he waited until he saw another dog and yelled "look what I found! She loves me!". What a cutie.

I lost my pit last year , she just got old you know. She was the greatest dog ever. I came into her life when she was 6 years old and we were best friends from there on . She did have a mean side but only to bad people. She never bit anyone but her hair would stand up every now and then but I knew those people who she reacted to that way and they were not so nice people. Sometimes I think she was just going off my reaction. When I ran into those people my guard would go up and I think she sensed that and then would just be on stand by in case she had to react to protect me. She was so awesome and I miss her like crazy. 8 months ago we adopted a three legged rot wielder mix , another lover I have to say. He doesn't know that he only has three legs though and I'm not gonna tell him, lol . Pit bulls are the most loving, loyal, protectors ,and I would trust them with my life. The only reason you have a bad dog is because they have bad owners period.
