As a black woman I am so happy to see an Dark skin Indian woman play the lead role instead of being the nerdy Indian girl.

As a brown girl, I just couldn’t stop myself from sobbing multiple times throughout season 2. I’m such a hopeless romantic, and love a romcom, but it had never truly occurred to me that I’d never seen a woman who looked like me being the main protagonist. Skin as dark as mine too. God, representation is so important. I’m so thankful for this storyline, Simone and Shonda for allowing this beautiful story to be told and for making us all feel worthy of being a viscountess ❤️

i’m so proud of her, coming from being a side character on sex ed to being a main character on bridgerton

I love to see 'penelope' so confident. she is able to portray such a shy and insecure girl. This is such good acting

I can tell Kate and Anthony are going to be FIRE and have off the charts chemistry just from the way Simone and Johnny are giggling and having their own conversation. Actors who are besties offscreen tend to have MEGA chemistry onscreen
  • ok whoever did the lighting for the interview deserves a raise. all the girls' skins looks absolutely radiant & glowy. not to mention they're all just naturally stunning
  • I had NO IDEA Jonathan was gay lmfaooooo hats off to his acting, he did a superb job convincing me he was 100% for that pootytang.

Charithra saying she never imagined someone who looked like her would be in these outfits, makes me so sad. Regardless, she’s beautiful especially in her wedding dress.

The actress who plays Edwina is so sparkly and fun. I hope we get to see her in a lot more things! All of them, really!
  • The cast was absolutely brilliant, I binged the entire show in one sitting. I was particularly blown away by Jonathan Bailey’s performance. Love love season 2!

The chemistry between them is out of this world. UGHHHH, this is so much better than the first season LOL

Jonathan Bailey should do audiobooks, I could listen to his voice all day long.

Simone is so so stunning. This might sounds weird but she has the cutest and prettiest eyes, nose and lips. She looks like a real-life doll.

Charithra is absolutely PERFECT. It's not about the looks but the vibes - she's just Edwina :)
  • @pabriny
Is Simone the most beautiful woman you have ever seen or what? Her face was carved by angels. And what talent!
  • I mean, look at how Simone & Jonathan look at each other even on this interview. They have that chemistry and spark. The casting did a great job! Thank you Bridgerton!

The chemistry is sizziling between them all and this is them just talking about the characters 🥺 this season is going to be amazing
  • @IlliniDog01
I wasn't aware that Jonathan was gay. I guess that just speaks to his acting, because his chemistry with Simone was 100% believable.
  • Simone Ashley is a feast for the eyes. Beyond the beauty is the wit and charm of her character that makes her magnificent to watch.

"As a gay man I'll say now" Facts! And... it broke me. Jonathan is so effortlessly funny, I think all of his videos and interviews get me to smile, or snort a little bit
