btw, the thing that was causing you to die in one or two hits is a mod called First Aid. It makes it so your health is distributed among different body parts on your character, you can see the parts on the bottom right of your screen. If your head or torso (both have 2 hearts each) runs out of hearts its an instant death as those are considered vital body parts. You can have no hearts on your limbs and live but you'll have penalties applied to you until you heal with bandages or healing salves. You can get a good idea of the distribution of the hearts with a button in your inventory window.

Karl and Jimmy being absolutely battered by the Ice and Fire mobs is hilarious, people who never really play a lot with Ice and Fire...playing with Ice and Fire is so entertaining. (If any of you guys don't know, Ice and Fire is the mod that added the dragons, Sea serpents, Sirens, etc)
