We drove 2,802 Miles in 6 days! It was a whirlwind of travel, but we saw SOOO much and had a wonderful visit with family and friends. I love to drive and I could go on and on about the beauty we say, even in the plains of Kansans. But, we are glad to be home in our own beds. Always neat to take a look at the campuses. Loved the look of that art museum! I only have some junior college credits, but I just could not find my way via college. I must say its nice to see somebody like Emma actually working with great success IN her degree field and even reaching higher with her Masters.

Thank you guys. So nice to see the campus where my parents met and fell in love. I visited it once as a teenager when we transported my oldest sister there to start her college career. The out of state tuition to do so really strained the household budget in Maryland but she had a dream. As a student. mom lived at her family home in East Lansing and walked thru a wooded area to the campus every school day - all year as she wanted to complete her degree in 3 years. Dad was studying and specialized in veterinary sciences, animal husbandry and agriculture. I was wondering if the school's dairy still operated and produced some of its own dairy products. Wonderful to know that it does and they are still enjoyed. Passing and filming the old buildings that would have been in place in the 1930s was especially nice to see. Hope the remainder of your stay and travels beyond are pleasant and memorable.

Cool video, nice looking campus. So different to my love, UW.

Nice video. I have friends in Warren and yeah, the winters can be brutal! Nope, higher education is not for everyone but it does serve to lay the foundations for occupations that are essential for a functioning society. Teachers, doctors, nurses, engineers and so many others---not possible without a formal education. Kudos to Emma for doing so well at MSU and gratitude to her for choosing to undergo the rigors of a university education and serving in such a needed profession.

See Joel, we are a lot alike just 30 years apart, I love chocolate chip mint ice cream too 😂😂 What a nice campus for learning, very nice ! The mascot for San Jose State University is also the Spartan

Wow, that is an incredible area to bike ride. And that soup and sandwich to top it off....mmmm.
  • If ya come to the west side ya know who to hit up! Send some emails if ya want to!
  • Did you leave your bikes outside and unlocked? I'm so paranoid when out on our ebikes that I carry huge chains and high security locks. Great trip so far we look forward to each days story. What's the total fuel bill so far?
  • cool seeing her college.. yea she worked, worked on partying lol just joking; yea, I didn't do good in school either then i figured out the trick to get through..

Back when I was in school. (Shortly before they invented dirt.) They taught us how to think. Not what to think.
