Today I accidentally stumbled upon a park I had permission for, but didn't even know it!

Now THAT looked like an awesome day out in the sun! I'm very happy to see that many of people in the metal detecting world collect up the scrap you find and dispose of it in the proper place. I realize that this is so that you don't run into it again, but the fact that you do it makes me happy. Wow, wine and posting sometimes does not mix well .... :)
  • Excellent work removing all that trash. Not every trip is a winner. Beautiful day!

when I seen the intro & the cover. I thought them dudes were jahova witnesses man their everywhere
  • I find it interesting how deep these coins and pieces of metal are in the ground. I wonder if they sink', or is it ground 'build up' over them? Perhaps a process of both. Enjoying these videos a lot.

If you need help modding anything/fabrication, let me know. I'd be happy to help. Keep it up!

Great show and looks like you had fantastic weather. 4 thumbs up :)
  • not sure about clad, but if it goes like most parks you'll get about $0.30 in scrap aluminum 1.73 clad, and a copper penny
  • @jshilohshea381
good to have that paper giving you permission to detect and bit of digging...next time you'll find over $3 in change..and maybe a gold ring and 2 silver ones...good hunting !! keep the videos coming !
  • Try sliding a piece of aluminium pipe over your handle then drill a hole through and put a bolt through to keep it on.if u wanted to get technical u can use a telescopic pole so it can fold down to fit in ur bag or u could just take the bolt out and take it off when need be!

Good hunt. Yeah, we have some parks out here that are probe only. I use a screwdriver that I dulled and rounded. I do scratch coins at times, but I've gotten pretty good at flipping a coin out of the ground.

Great video! Thanks for sharing your day. Good idea about the digging knife extension. Let us know how that works out.
  • @MikeeVee
Still pretty lame that you can't dig.... if only they would realize that a true detectorist will leave no sign they were ever there and will actually wind up cleaning up the parks....

Sitting back relaxing while binging one of my favorite shows, sees Klesh guitars notice pop up immediately pauses show and watches the video, lmfao. Love your content, bud. One of a few that I watch immediately instead of doing my new practice to avoid missing notices by hitting add to watch later.

I live in Littleton and use an ATPro. Guess I will wait awhile for Gallup since you cleaned it out lol .If you have a bad day maybe I was there before ya !! My guess was $1.18 Been checking out some of your older videos now that I am a subscriber > Your great.
  • @MikeeVee
I can't help but wonder how many other sites you can ask permission to actually dig and then revisit where previously you had no choice but to use your garrett probe.

I watched a guy use a Gold claw gold pan and it looked like it works great and the gold separates from black sand almost completely clean. It was on AU79 Prospecting.
