tip: for those who're still confused about which sun producer you should max first, I recommend: *Enlighten-mint if possible: aside from longer duration, you can get 300 extra sun every 60 seconds, making it a slightly-worse version of gold bloom *Shine-vine, also if possible: 125 sun production along with additional 75 sun to whatever enlighten-mint plants inside it makes it worth every seed packet 1. Solar Sage: just because picking up small suns (especially during arena/penny's pursuit) can be frustrating 2. Moonflower: sure, it has slower recharge, weaker plant-food effect, and you need at least 4 of them adjacent to each other, but it has the same cost as sun-shroom (25) now and they produce suns faster when shadow-powered, making up the slower sun production rate at those early stages relatively fast (yes, even in 1 flag stages) 3. Primal Sunflower: at level 9, it only produces 100 sun, but at max level, it produces 150, the same as twin sunflower, and more than sun-shroom, moreover, if you have at least level 7—8 enlighten-mint with its longer duration, primal sunflower produces more sun overall than sun-shroom (according to wiki, sunflowers produces ADDITIONAL sun, while sun-shroom sun production stays at 110 at ALL LEVELS, meaning it has worse scaling than others) 4. Sun-shroom: If you have trouble picking up small suns, then I suggest maxing sun-shroom first before primal sunflower. It still has uses in "don't spend more than x sun" levels and boosterama events 5. Twin sunflower 6. Sunflower It's very difficult to max gold-bloom since it's a money-premium plant, and the only thing that changes with each upgrade is its recharge, so it's still produces 375 sun, whether it's at level 1 or level 10

Sun shroom is my go to. Also boosted sun shroom just becomes a 25 cost primal sunflower which is hilarious

In a rare moment of modern pop cap devs realizing that older plants exist, and an even rarer moment of modern popcap making a plant do something cool instead of do something that is fucking OP: they actually coded shine vine to have a unique interaction with magnifying grass, this unique interaction is… shine vine periodically makes magnifying grass shoot at no sun cost, however, it can no longer produce sun because it is pumping the sun it produces directly into the veins of magnifying grass. Also, shine vines get counted as another sun producer that increases the power of magnifying grass’s plant food effect, basically doubling the duration of the plant food (with a little extra than double if you plant them on magnifying grass as well.)
  • This channel is very wholsome I subscribe just because of that, but the PvZ content is a big plus

correction:the sun shroom at max stage and primal sunflower produces 100 sun

Here’s my opinion: - Sunflower: standard sun producer - Twin sunflower: useful for levels where space is limited and you need to get the most value out of every square. - Sun shroom: spammable sun producer that later in the game will give you more sun. - Sun bean: secondary sun producer, you’ll usually use it when there’s a lot of high health zombies in order to maximize the sun you get from it - Primal sunflower: like normal sunflower but better and more space efficient. - Moon flower: only run it if you are going to use a lot of shadow plants or in arena. - Gold Bloom: if you are ever going to spend money on pvz2, buy gold bloom. - Solar Tomato: contrary to sun bean, you want to bring solar tomato when there’s a lot of low health zombies in the level. - Enlighten-mint: great to boost your sun production, and most efficient when paired with sun shroom or primal sunflower. - Shine vine: secondary sun producer, very space efficient. - Solar Sage: secondary sun producer, use him as an insta kill plant too.

Whattttttt Iast time I saw this it had like 200 views
  • Why they don't change the night levels gimmick? Like, instead of get sun, we got moon fall. That'll make more sense.
