  • Confirmed it tows great towing a 6x12 U-Haul trailer, and separately, a U-Haul car dolly with Honda civic loaded down. Both times were cross-country. Just us manual shift towing up a grad and keep in S4 the entire time.

she might not be the best vehicle to tow with, but she'll pretty much do anything you'll throw at it. rock crawl, a week or more of camping, take the kids out, go shopping. the list is endless and still offers you one of the best resale values out there. oh, i forgot and tow. have fun with her and be safe out there. love my 2016 4runner trail.

I bought a ‘24 4 Runner and I already have a special bond with it. Love it!!!
  • I tow with my 4Runner, a bit heavier than you are towing. Around 3,800 loaded, tow in S-4 makes a huge difference.
  • I traded a 2019 F150 for my 2024 4runner and it tows 3000lb better that the F150. Not as much power, but it's stiffer and seems to ride much smoother when towing. The F150 always felt like the frame was flexing.
  • Towed a bunch with Tacomas and 4runners, not the best but they get the job done. Definitely want trailer brakes like you have if towing much more than a utility trailer.

I just got mine Wednesday loving the color beats the heck out of the black one I had.
  • Nice video. Liking the 4Runner content. (Hope to get one myself soon). And….. I have never heard of Hop Splash until now. Is it any good?

Nice video-I have the exact same 4Runner…just curious about when you plan on doing the initial oil change.
  • @fredmagic09
Throw a supercharger on there and you'll be good. 👌🏾
  • @Mike-cu6gk
Thanks for the video. Quick question why didn’t you shift from 4 to 5?
  • Hello…Do you have it in ECO mode? The engine setting that is…

I have a you guessed it: 21 4Runner SR5 Premium. Truck is awesome but ever since we purchased it with 44K miles and now at 54K miles, I feel as if there is excessive road feedback that vibrates through to the steering wheel. Wheel balance helped and had vehicle aligned but still there. Do you experience this with yours? Mine is all stock. Feel it more at hwy speeds. Ty!
  • does it come with a transmission cooler? I forget... not that you need it if you're within the load spex ❤

They are a little sluggish in towing close to 4k pounds. Braking is the bad part. Lots of nose dive. Also not that stable at high speeds at 70mph. Great for towing small trailers locally though.
  • Hi there, I hope you doing well. Just one complain please stop calling 4Runner a ‘she’. Thank you.
