Lyrics:
A perfect sky
A storm
A message made from bones
Of those we loved
We lie awake in fear
Of what we’ve lost
Now we are centralised
A life, a child, a son
A flicker in the dark to carry on
We held each other close
But not enough
Now we are unified
Ancient sun cast your light
Cause there’s no hope in endless winter
When you fall from the sky
My blood runs cold and I feel paralysed
Asleep but still Awake
Came crashing down to earth
The sound it made
Like bullets to your heart my words still ache
And can you hear me now?
Ancient sun cast your light
Cause there’s no hope in endless winter
When you fall from the sky
My blood runs cold and I feel paralysed
Ancient sun cast your light
Cause there’s no hope in endless winter
When you fall from the sky
My blood runs cold and I feel paralysed

I must confess I'm here after ST4. Saw an interview where he said he would chose this song to overpower Vecna. Truly a masterpiece.
-
Damn …. And he can sing too??? What a powerful voice!!
-
Myself and the cellist (Caleb Curtis) really enjoyed playing on this session and getting to support Jamie in bringing this incredible tune to life. Glad to see everyone's enjoying it x
-
If there is ever a movie made about David Bowie, this guy is perfect to play him. I just couldn’t imagine anyone else in that role.
-
He's got a perfect mix of a mature, deep tone and a raspy drawn out voice. It's perfect for these raw, emotional songs.
-
That's why music can help Vecna's victim
-
He performed this song with every fiber of his being, I got the chills.
-
Who else thinks that Jamie is a great singer!!
-
I'm addicted to his voice.
-
props to the violinist- that solo is incredible

Wow… what powerful voice! Why isn’t this playing on the radio or winning a Grammy. This is sick! Loved it.
-
me at the start of this: oh nice me 1 minute in: scream of overwhelming emotion
-
Wait a damn minute. The talent this man holds is insane.
-
Saying it right now: anyone wanting to do a David Bowie movie, they need to cast Jamie Campbell Bower! He can definitely get the voice, there are moments in this song he sounds like Bowie. Plus his facial structure. As someone who loves Bowie, I would not be disappointed if Jamie played him. Might need to learn how to play the sax though.
-
God his voice is really beautiful, but can we appreciate the violinist, she was on point!! It was so obvious they were all caught up in the mood as well, it was chilling.
-
Does anybody else think that he would make a great phantom in Phantom Of The Opera? I mean... I got chills.
-
I remember you saying that while filming the mortal instruments:city of bones you couldn't play the piano and look at you now. ✨😌✨
-
I think this may be one of the only songs I have ever heard where I could still hear the singer's accent. Excellent.

I created a place inside my mind, to go to in times of pain. Probably 7 years ago. It was a black and white room with rain falling outside. A man who's face I couldn't see plays the piano as I sit on the floor beside it and just fall away into the music. Been a fan of Jamie since Mortal Instruments, whenever it came out. Once I saw this video I realized who the guy in my safe room is, and had always been. It was this room I ran to in my darkest moments and continues to be. Never told anyone that. Had the chance to meet him a week ago and only had 2 seconds. Figured I'd tell the world since I couldn't tell him in person. This video means so much to me, and I'm so happy to see everyone loving it now too. ❤️
