  • Was plowing all day in our versatile 550 dt then came home and watched youtube videos of other people plowing. Something about watching the snow rollin' that i cant get enough of lol.
  • Back in the 80s,when of our local farmers, had a hydrostatic drive tractor, and bought a twin impeller snow blower. The blower was eight feet wide and could handle drifts up to ten feet high. He would hire himself out to the county to clear blocked roads that they couldn’t clear. He was charging $100 an hour, from the time he left home until he returned. The beauty of the hydrostatic drive, was no clutches to slip and burn out, and he could adjust his ground speed from nothing to 20 mph.

Normally I hate when people add music to videos but in this case it was wonderful, very enjoyable to watch, thank you.

Hi from Denmark - what a nice video - no shaking camera - no stupid computer generated music - no ugly face to look at all the time - no stupid comentary 😀
  • I had a cousin, and he had a big deere, with a large snowplow on it. He loved the winter, because he went out and plowed the county roads where we lived. The county sometimes took all day to get out where we lived. Sadly Bobby passed away and it is no more.
  • Mesmerizing, plowing snow with a beast, and listening to classical music. Bring on more content.

WOW WHAT A MACHINE!! While us "City-its" are complaining that we cant get to the mall in our SUV due to crappy roads you are out working the roads and the fields. Thank you thank you thank you

Great choice of Beethoven's Sixth Symphony The Pastoral to go with this wonderful video!!! Such a calming effect!!! Perfect!!!
  • Now that is art! Taking something as simple as a tractor plowing snow, and turning it into a beautiful video with some great drone shots, and some amazing music. That was a pleasure to watch. :) Now if I could just convince my wife that we need a tractor and plow set up like yours, to plow our lane this winter...
  • Brings back memories of my teenage years in Georgia. We had a 1986 John Deere 8630. I put a many hours on that big boy. It was a beast of its era.
  • I remember riding along on the milk truck after a 3 day blizzard. The farmer opened the road with his tractor and loader. That was fine for his car or pickup but one wheel to narrow for the truck. The storm started with rain and left an ice coat on the road under the snow. We ran out of traction half way down the section road. So with a half mile to go either way it was get out and shovel. Fortunately with about 20 or 30 feet of widening we got moving again. I was a junior in high school and in a lot better shape. It would literally kill me now. Snow removal equipment is so much better now.

I can sit and watch this forever .... love the power of big farm equipment ! :-)
  • I've plowed a lot of snow. People don't realize how heavy it is. It only moves so fast. With an angle blade it's a combination of speed and angle of the blade. If you angle it to much it pushes you sideways, if you are too straight it won't leave your blade. If you have some place to push it, like into a barrow pit it not so bad. I've had to go out into a field and work my way back to the road.

    1. "so what did you do this weekend?" 2. "oh not much, watching farm-equipment snowplow with classic background-music"...
  • @CrawlinJK
The music is fantastic, such a pleasant departure from most videos I come across. Thank you!
  • The very best part of this video is the back round music. How pleasant. Does rattle my brain like some of the stuff or folks post.
  • @damanyocum149
As a heavy diesel technician I really love seeing those JD 9630 4wd tractors plowing snow!!😍👍🦅🇺🇸
  • Not very many things that will stop the mighty 9630. Great video and great music.
