About
Husker, also known as Husk, is a supporting protagonist in Hazbin Hotel: Journey to the Light.
A failed magician, former world traveler, and gambling man who grew up in a Las Vegas casino, Husk is the front desk face of the Hazbin Hotel, the host of the Angst Bar, and one of the hotel's main entertainers. He is also one of the many enslaved servants of the Radio Demon, Alastor, and the owner of the Jackpot Hotel. After being reborn in Hell, Husk, having not learned from his mistakes in life, became one of the many victims of Alastor's deals, sinking himself into the Radio Demon's game until he was forced to serve him indefinitely, effectively becoming his slave.
After Alastor was enlisted by the Princess of Hell, Charlie Magne, to help her run the Hazbin Hotel, the Radio Demon appointed Husk as the front desk clerk, entertainer, and bartender at the hotel as one of his many changes to the establishment, much to Husk's chagrin.
The Hazbin Hotel, alternatively the Happy Hotel and formerly the Poison Apple, is a hotel and rehabilitation center owned by the Princess of Hell, Charlie Magne. The fundamental goal of the hotel revolved around the transformation of its morally wayward occupants, paving their way to redemption and eventual ascension to Heaven. Positioned within the Pride Ring of Pentagram City, the hotel finds its place in what was once the vacation residence of the Magne family.
The hotel initially met its demolishment when Leviathan attempted to flood the seven rings, which resulted in its complete obliteration. However, through the help of Roo, the establishment was not only revived but also expanded to grander proportions. This remarkable turnaround not only revitalized the hotel but also propelled it to unprecedented success, facilitated by the united endeavors of the hotel crew in strategic business promotion and advertising.
Hazbin Hotel is an American adult animated musical comedy streaming television series created by Vivienne "VivziePop" Medrano. The series revolves around Charlie Morningstar, crown princess of Hell, on her quest to find a way for sinners to be "rehabilitated" and allowed into Heaven, via her "Hazbin Hotel", as an alternative to Heaven's annuaI "Extermination" of wayward souls due to Hell's overpopulation. The series is produced by independent entertainment company A24 and animation studio Bento Box Entertainment, in collaboration with Amazon Studios.
The pilot was released on YouTube on October 28, 2019, was made entirely by freelance animators and was largely financed by Medrano's Patreon followers. The first season premiered on Amazon Prime Video on January 18, 2024, with its first episode also released on YouTube on that same day for a limited release. A second season is confirmed to be in production. It has received generally positive reviews from critics.
The popularity and success of the pilot allowed Medrano to create a spin-off series called Helluva Boss, which premiered on October 31, 2020. The series features a different cast of characters within the same in-universe setting.
On January 26, 2024, it was revealed that Hazbin Hotel is the largest global debut for a new animated series on Prime Video.

I have literally never heard anyone take on the blues/bluegrass genre for a fansong. It not only suits husk, but its an amazing bit of standalone music on it's own. It tells you a story on it's own with nothing being too specifically tied to the orginal, yet still being the right vibe that you know who it's for. This is SUCH a banger, I would love to hear you do more in this genre--- this is my introduction to you so if you have I'll find out soon after lol. I'm seriously so impressed it's fantastic! I love when fansongs arent just Pop or Rock genre it's so good. Good work, 12/10 im listening forever ok bye 💙✨✨✨
