The Washington Huskies are losing just about everybody, including a Heisman finalist in Michael Penix and head coach Kalen DeBoer. Jedd Fisch enters as the new head coach in Seattle and with lots of turnover, a lot of questions present themselves for Washington.

Can Will Rogers return to his prolific ways? Will Washington be able to replace a Joe Moore Award winning offensive line? Will the Husky defense be able to replace a good defensive line?

I break down all things Wasington with Roman Tomashoff of Huskies Wire (USA Today) and ‪@LockedonHuskies‬ !

Still holding in the 6 to 9 win range. I’m sticking with an upset win at home against Michigan getting them to 8 wins.

I like what Jedd Fisch is doing with Washington. And maybe they're better than I think. But it just feels like one injury on either line could really send them into a tailspin.
  • Nice video. I would be happy with 9-3 or better. 8-4 might be ok as well. Go DAWGS. As a life long Huskies fan - I unever expected them to be in any conference then the PAC(12) - but maybe moving to the B1G wont be a bad move. Here's for a new beginning in a new conference.
  • Roman, I’m very disappointed in you. You just lied on YouTube Washington upsetting Iowa and Rutgers being a tough game? With Washington coming to the B10’s rescue and elevating B10 football because the SEC was a tad bit better. But let’s get down to business Washington is well stocked regardless of the losses, and I look at this schedule and I see no reason for Washington not to go undefeated in its first B10 season. I will remind you it was Washington who put bama on the map and revolutionized college football on the west coast, 5 national championships two claimed and three unclaimed. Heaven help the foes of Washington, mighty mighty Washington! Dammit mighty are the men who wear the purple and the gold!

It is funny that they were saying that we were rebuilding before Deboer got there. This was so before they started talking about all the guys who went to the draft. TCU is a bad comparison. Because they never have a good team here hard. Give us the second year, and you will see something great here starting. Big Ten hype does not matter. PAC 12 is not a bunch of girls. We are going to stomp in the Big Ten. Give us time.

First I heard re the Hatcher (OC) injury for Washington. Yikes.

If our offensive line is a B- or worse 6-6 or 5-7. If our offensive line is B or better 7-5 or 9-3.

Not to sound cocky or like an idiot. But UW has a lot better coaching staff than TCU. We finally have a running back. It is bad when your best back is Myles Gaskin over the years. I loved Myles. And he was real good. But not great. Jonah is great. It is nice to be able to here establish your run and then pass. Instead of Deboer's pass first crud. Our defense and running is going to establish UW this year. Our defense will be better my hope is. Offensive line will not matter if Elineus Davis does not step up. Our defensive ends are just as good as last year's group. Our DB's are just as good. We are better in the TB room. Receiver's are fine. TE end room has quality there. We may be inexperienced in areas but we have talent. It may take 4 games to see where we are at. It depends more on actually how good our opponent is. If they as hyped the Big Ten too much or not.
