True Disturbed fans know that this music gets you through some hard times.

I lost a brother in Afghanistan, we first bonded over our love of Disturbed and this was his favorite song. I could not understand why until after he died. We said we were going to go see Disturbed when we got home, I have seen Disturbed live several time now and they have played Prayer every time. When it plays I can feel he is there with me. Semper Fi brother, I will see you again one day.

This song hits home for me. I was a heroin addict who lost everything. My house, my car, my family, my friends, I lost everything.. but I got it all back. October 21st 2022 is my 10 years clean mark. I got my family, my friends, my kids, my house and car, I got it all back with a little bit of hope and willpower.

Whenever I'm feeling defeated, helpless, angry, I turn this song on. I've loved this song for years, and it still counts as my "prayer."

David in my opinion is one of the best lead singers of all time. His voice could lead an ARMY, his vocals are amazing. Not mention that everything his lyrics stand for are the damn truth.

I recently suffered from depression and sucidal thoughts and this was one of the songs that helped pull me out from that low place and honestly from the bottom of my heart I want to thank bands like Disturbed for making songs such as"Prayer." as you may never know who needs help out there to get out of their low points where the help in this case came in the form of a song. I especially resonated with the light aspect of the video as it truly relates to my situation where I just need some light to cleanse all the darkness away from my life and get on with living in peace instead of misery.

I had recently lost my fiancee & baby girl in a car accident, was about to end my life and this song came on. That beligerant "Fine fucking take everything" attitude made me angry enough to keep living and eventually heal. I will be a Disturbed fan for life.

A great friend of mine in middle school, was a die-hard Disturbed fan (6th through 8th grade). So much so, when he was taken from us a couple years ago in a car accident before the pandemic, some classmates and I, who havent seen each-other in about 10 years since we graduated, played this at his funeral in his honor.

Music that shaped a generation. I would not be who I am today without Disturbed. Thank you for everything.
