The way I deep dived post watching to understand more - BLEW my mind!! That scene where they discuss ‘doppelgängers’ around the dining table and how when you see your doppelgänger means you are near death - if you watch that scene again and focus on the windows behind you’ll see a side profile of Jacob elordi walk past the WINDOW!!!! literally foreshadowing his own death! And the dance scene at the end is a mirror image/reversal of the tour Felix gives to Oliver when he arrives at Saltburn initially. The way I have been thinking about this movies for WEEKS after watching - amazing. I was fucked up watching this even without the edibles on board😂

my sister and i watched saltburn with no knowledge of what it was going to be we weren't too shocked by it as we've grown up watching stuff like this and have seen worse but we are not immune to second hand embarrassment and i dare say the scene of felix finding out oliver isn't actually poor with an addict mother and a dead father gives me just as bad if not worse secondhand embarrassment than the kiss the prettiest girl in the room scene from the perks of being a wallflower

watched this with my parents on christmas eve 🤭 funny enough, my dad is obsessed with it and has recommended it to every person he has come into contact with since watching it LOL
