    Even though it's spelled Brough, it's pronounced 'BRUFF'. I remember reading an article in one of my fathers 1950's motorcycle magazines where G. Brourgh's father reputedly said, 'If that's a Brough Superior, I must have made 'Rough Inferior' ?
