  • As a creature expert, I can without a doubt confirm it was not a Dolphin

Guns in the barn??? That’s a TERRIBLE idea!

How every paranormal story starts: Family moves into cheap house in the middle of nowhere

I've been through Palmyra. When i lived in the Bangor area, I used to work in Dexter, and had to pass through Palmyra often on the way back from Dexter. I can tell you that inland Maine is VERY different from coastal Maine. It's ALL very deep forest, and there's a constant, definite sense that you're being watched by something that HATES you and doesn't want you there. It's VERY creepy.

living in a two-story large house in the middle of the forest and noticing that everything has gone quiet in the middle of the night is another level of horror

Never tell the police that "something" is on your property. Tell them "someone" is trying to get into your house.
  • This guy is so talented. Mesmerizing storyteller. I'm chronically ill and he has provided me with hours of entertainment and distraction from pain.

I don't know why this particular story fascinates me so much. Love this one
  • If everything in the woods goes quiet, it usually means there's an apex predator nearby.

Thanks to the husband's 5 friends with parkor training and werewolf costumes he will always be able to keep the guns in the house.

I binged on Mr. Ballen about two years ago. I’ve watched all of his videos but now I’m back rewatching and I swear it’s just as captivating as the first time around.
  • I love these stories I'm living in the woods about 160 miles north east of there and in this time I've heard packs of wolves / coyotes 2x and the dog looked out and said NOPE not going out.

If animals ever figure out glass is breakable we're in trouble

I'm not personally a gun person, but what the hell is the point of having guns for protection, if they're not in the damn house.
  • @wilsonrawlin8547
NEVER EVER LET A WOMAN TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN'T KEEP YOUR FIREARMS IN THE HOUSE. EVER!!!! HER IGNORANCE CAN BE YOU AND HER'S DEATH SENTENCE.

I live in Tennessee and know that you should not be outside in the dark woods at night… especially if all the surrounding wildlife goes quiet. I have also seen creatures I cannot explain, and they are much bigger than any human I have witnessed. Eric had some serious courage and bravery to do that in order to protect his family; I am glad they all survived.

Shelly is the first person to die in any horror movie. Literally has both iq and survival instincts of a damn grapefruit.
  • @TheSeeker008
Owning a gun or any other defensive weapon is useless if it’s not accessible almost immediately at any time.

I live in Mathews VA and this here kinda' puts some trails to what I saw back in July/August 2014. I was 17, had two buddies with me and went for a walk up to the good ole 711 from a place we all stayed at that summer. Took a back road walk on Seaford road to get there and it's a long stretch of gravel to the main road, and it's pitch black thanks to the covering of trees, we all agreed early we felt something watching us and we didn't pay it much mind really. Halfway down we for whatever reason could hear chains drag occasionally and then they semi skidaddled and I just kept walking normal. As I caught up at the end of the road, I came into some light from the street post and I was maybe 25-30 foot into the light, we all got a feeling to turn and look back and there was a 7.5-8ft tall wolf/coyote that had mint green jewel like eyes standing up walking towards the light and then got down and lowered it's head slowly into the light and we all ran after that. It was the most random thing but it was very real
