A Fascinating Look at Baby Bluebirds: Time-Lapse Video with Live Nest Box Cam.

I built my first birdhouse as a way to get back into woodworking. I didn't think much about what I would do with that birdhouse. Eventually I put it outside and on a whim, I put a camera inside it. It was fascinating to watch the babies and parents inside! I've been videoing birds ever since.

Thank you for not adding unnecessary music, narration, corner selfies cooing how cute they are, or constant on screen begging for likes and subscriptions. Thumbs up.
  • Dad brings Mom food while she keeps eggs warm and safe. So sweet! Bluebirds are beautiful!❤

I watched a Robin build a nest outside once. What an amazing work of art....she built it for her..right down to putting her wings out to make sure she could protect her babies in the rain. Seriously amazing!
  • "Awe," Thank You @ Birds Walking Down for posting this AWESOME Video... I so LOVE watching Awesome Videos like this of GOD'S Beautiful Created 🐦 Blue Birds... It truly "AMAZES" Me "that a Bird with only a Beak and Two small Claws can build such a neat Bird's Nests, and, it's also so super 🥰 Sweet "to see both the "Momma Bird" and the "Daddy Bird" both Helping Build their "Love Nest" together and how both of them also help Tend to their Babies... It also amazes Me the things that BIRDS will find on the ground to build their Nests with. One day, back in (1996) while outside, I was cutting my little niece's HAIR, and I no longer threw some of her hair over to the side "that I had cut," and a BIRD must have been WATCHING us, because the BIRD swooped down and quickly grabbed my niece's HAIR that I had cut off, and my little niece who was around (4 years old at the time) says: "Hey," that Bird just took my Hair. So I told my niece that that Birdy was going to use her HAIR to help build its NEST. Then, back in in (2016 or 2017) while I was outside playing with my young nephew (who was around 5 or 6 years old), I saw a Bird's Nest that had fell out of a Tree, and onto the ground, so Me and my Nephew walked over to check it (to make sure there was no baby birdies in the Nest), and the Bird's Nest was empty. But, I couldn't believe what all we saw in that "Bird's Nest." The Bird had used "Lawn Chair Stripping's," and "Yarn," Cotton Balls, and even "Dental Floss." 😁 Now, if only more HUMAN GUYS would be as caring and helpful towards raising up their 👶 "HUMAN BABIES," what a better WORLD we'd live in... 😊

They're such good parents!!! And I had no idea that they stayed as couples and took care of the babies as a family....🥹🥹🥹
  • Such a beautiful bird… no wonder they’re the “blue bird” of happinesses☺️ I wish these loveliest of birds lived in my area of the US… 💙I love this vidieo💙
  • This is beautiful to see. We have a bird house in our backyard and some blue birds moved in. It's been pretty special watching them feed and protect their babies. From egg to adolescent. They all moved out today. I'm glad they grew up safely.

Over the years I have noticed that most of the song birds, the ones that sing the most always seem to have very clean nests. I enjoyed watching this video 🙂👍
  • Absolutely spellbinding. The parents and the babies are all so chatty! The muted subtle colours of the female, and the vivid electric blue of the male are exquisite. Loved this Lesley. Thankyou.
  • I host bluebird families and this is one of the BEST videos I’ve seen! Just incredible! They’re such good parents. So much can go wrong when they’re trying to raise a successful clutch.

  • Awww! Five healthy babies! What a lovely family! Thank you for providing a nice and well thought out house for them- and sharing this experience with us!🙂👍

Mother nature is beautiful. Birds work so hard to make nest. I live in northern AZ and see amazing shit happening in the wild.
