Totally agree about the privacy point. Especially if you're filming and posting every detail of your trip.

When I was homeless, living in my van, I would always wake up in front of the Eiffel tower, eating granola and yogurt
  • @gerald4nomads
The worst things about Vanlife are people who join the movement just to make money and don’t actually live the lifestyle.
  • Drama 101. All I know is I dont pay $1200 a month rent anymore & I sleep just fine where I park. I'm calling BS!
  • @jotheorange
Pretty sure that poor guy was just trying to earn his minimum wage pushing carts, he wasn’t trying to spy on you 😂
  • @fd-tl4ld
“I don’t have privacy” puts her whole setup online 😂😂😂😂
  • @jasongunnz
There's always someone watching at all times. Sets up camera watchs 3 strangers, 2 of them look at the camera not her and the other is just doing there job doesn't even glance in her direction.
  • @ilham78
It's not for women. You can't pee in a bottle in the middle of the night, and that's the biggest problem😂😂😂
  • My generation (1978) tried everything to make sure that they don’t end up sleeping in a car. Times changing…
  • @Canoecamper
Looks like you were dumping sewage from your cassette toilet in a storm drain. Storm drains connect to a nearby stream; they don’t go to the sewage treatment plant.
  • @thehuman5612
That was me in the back pushing the cart 😂😂
  • That looks like a 50 thousand dollar Van! I want a camper van like that! 👍
  • @SeahamV2
Puts life online, I never have any privacy.
  • @BIZZLLENIZZLLE
I complain about not having privacy but I post everything I do and everywhere I go online for the entire world to see.
  • ❤ yes Ames I totally knew what you're talking about I lived in my van for 36 years I was disabled from an early age but I couldn't handle it anymore because my legs was having trouble so I got off the streets of 2011 but I didn't have it as good as you do but thank you for sharing❤

the thing about these is that the platform is just FINALLY taking off. Most of these nomadic lifestyle had been either for hippies or retired wealthy folks. You know, unpractical folks. As for the common folk, it's just getting started for us so we are only starting to build up the amenities as well as a way of life fitting for what we are looking for with the tools available for us.

The hardest part was finding where to pick up my trust fund disbursement.

I'm 72 yrs old and have been retired, living & traveling in a Van for years. Its not a lifestyle for everyone but for me, I feel like I'm always on vacation and I love the freedom. For me. I always know in advance where I'm parking, and most often I'm in remote areas for weeks at a time and where there's no one around so I have massive privacy.

"!STOP!".....not everyone is traveling & that's not the FULL definition of Vanlife. Some people live in different vehicles like a car, SUV or truck. Some stay in the same area & work or live in the area. Whether one lives in a house or vehicle, there is always something to fix, negatives, positives, etc. One just needs to weigh the Pros & Cons according to their own personal situation & needs.
  • Love and appreciate the honesty. But this is where you reach out to friends/family, etc. I will offer to Pay to use their driveway, water, electric, laundry. And I find that some homeowners will readily accept that deal if you rotate often (for example, maybe 2 weeks at one spot and 2 weeks with another fren). It Benefits everyone, and still you have your privacy 💜
