I am amazed at what these workers can do. In the USA we would not tolerate working conditions like these. However, we have for many, many years been industrialized, modernized, OSHA-fied (rules and safety mandates) and of course we're just a little bit spoiled! Watching that bucket come together was really awesome. The end product looked top-notch too. These people know what real work is! Watching them work with that heavy plate steel was incredible. Too bad they probably do not get paid nearly what they deserve! My hat is off to you all! Incredible...just incredible!

These type of uploads are endlessly facinating and I have a ton of respect for the ingenuity and "back yard" engineering skills of these guys .
  • Fantastic cameraman thank you❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
  • I like how the Straight Edge (1:40) is a broken band saw blade!! Nothing goes to waste. You just have to admire these guys! Good job. Cheers.

I make this comment as a retired toolmaker and design engineer who still uses a metal shop (at my local Menz Shed) and I can say that I am really quite impressed by the workmanship in this video. The freehand gas-axe work was beautiful — especially cutting out the holes for the big pins. I even learnt something new — I have never seen a lathe used to line bore like that. The positional accuracy wouldn't have been great, but it would have been good enough, and the hole sizes would have been more than OK. Even Kurtis at Cutting Edge Engineering uses a hammer to adjust the cutting tool when line boring, although he does have a DTI to get closer tolerances than these guys would have managed. I am maybe a bit worried about the welding as there was bevels I could see, so the welds would have had little penetration. I guess if it works, it works.

The stick welding machines used by these blokes in Pakistan and India, are made in backstreet workshops as well. Nice seeing the old Cat 920D in the background. Was my first loader kitted out for log handling.
--- Very good job. Looking at the video, it seems that all the tasks are easy to perform, but we know that reality is quite different. Watching the video, I have the clear impression that everyone who participates in the factory really likes what they are doing, some work smiling, this is great because it demonstrates the satisfaction of the job done and the accomplishment of something well done, that is, an excellent final product quality and from what I understand this excavator shell will last for a long time.
  • Much respect.some people don't understand how hard laborers work to make that money .just to put food on the table.these gentlemen keep the world running...

11:02 see how the hydraulic break operator has a high sense of awareness and using hand gestures to command other assistants to get out of the way before the plate springs up. Complete harmony between workers and machines. High level of situational awareness and safety mindset 👏
  • if someone here wants to make an automatic feeder or bird drinker, it's on the saver's channel

Ни одежды толком, ни сапог, и перчаток, а они ведь работают. Молодцы.

Уважение и почет нелегкому труду и огромному профессионализму. Приятно смотреть на мастеров.
  • What a tremendous spirited hard work with those ultra heavy steel plates giving a perfect shape to the heavy duty excavation bucket without bothering any safety rules and not even using the safety gloves!!! Without YouTube we wouldn't have known such highly talented wonderful workforce do exist.......
