The absolute disrespect of the Shadow Ops 1 v 1. Elite just nails him with the grenade, then runs over to shoot at him, while hes already dead.

Everybody knows Halo Combat Evolved Covenant where the best versions. The gold Elite with the energy sword was the scariest one of them all.

it makes the elites more challenging overall in 1, but it was a cool move for bungie to scale the intelligence of the elites with their rank, really shows you the difference a gold elite will be vs blue one

The tall, upright posture of the CE elites was a more aesthetic, imposing design. Guessing the hunchback halo 2 elites was just to make them similar in profile to Spartans for multiplayer.
