Back behind the wheel in Train Sim World 4 and I'm running the speedy Azuma from Doncaster down to somewhere south of Doncaster. During this epic journey I'll be chasing another service for extra drama. Crikey.

I quite enjoyed that. Now I want you to take a Bullet train up the Khyber Pass...
  • @scottsmith1525
I literally did laugh out loud when you referred to the train ahead as "our opponent". πŸ˜‚
  • The great thing about trains is. No flipping bandits. The colonel is quite capable of detailing the train himself without some barbarian sneak attack.

Long Live The Whistle and Captain's announcements. Bonus points for the WH Smith references. I laughed too hard at "Welcome aboard the...train!"

Yes the Colonel's back on the trains... what could possibly go wrong πŸ˜‚
  • Woo Hoo! The Colonel is back on track ... again!πŸ˜‰πŸ˜ Yeah like no one ever thought of making that comment before.πŸ˜‚

    Flying Scotsman Arosa line downhill

Great episode as always . A big diesel freight train down the steepest track
  • Would be nice to see a 101 on any route tbh or a gronk would be nice to see that enjoyed the video all through out nice to see a return to tsw content

Hey Sam, I enjoyed that πŸ˜ƒ Here is my suggestion - We now have a free-roam mode in TSW... Take a British Class 101 ( Yes, that manual gear monstrosity ). Uncouple one of the driving cars, and delete the rest of 'em... Use it to shunt some unfitted mineral wagons ( White ones from Sprit of Steam ) on a gradient.

Nothing more relaxing than a train ride with Colonel. (slosh slosh)

Quality stuff as always. We have missed the announcements immensely.

Fantastic rant today Col, big reason these videos are so beloved! Do a steamer, don't care which one. Just don't blow it up like the derail valley one, doubt it would be as much fun to blow up as the derail valley one was.
  • @DeadlyDiddly
I quite enjoyed that! A Montezuma and NO working toilets! 😯πŸ₯΅πŸ€£ re: a TSW4 service, how about revisiting one of my old favourites, Oakville Subdivision eh? Just to see how that runs on TSW4, and doing some thrilling Autorack shunting? The Y935 Oakville Yard Switching at 14:35 takes about 40 mins and involves a bit of too-ing and fro-ing, switching, shunting, pointsing, zero spadding.

Oh yes! 'Best train driver in the world, ever' is let loose in a different train.
  • @randomtrivia
"Comestible Vestibule" absolutely killed me and henceforth I will only refer to the dining car as such
  • @timjerrom7173
Well, the doors were locked so couldn't get out! Steam train "to just see if you can make it explode again" would be fun. Bristol to Bath route? Passes close by my house 😊:_CNLFFailDozer:

Hi Colonel! Hope you don't mind some constructive criticism. At 17:31 you turn back the throttle on the engine to "save a bit of petrol", but the train you're driving uses electricity. It made the premise of the video a little harder to believe as a result. Otherwise, great video! It's nice to see you in a train and making the train move.
