Does the phin have to be charged? Salt water chlorinator Blue Hawaiian fiberglass pool. Installed in March. I just opened my pool and bought the phin today. I don’t see anything in the manual or any sort of port. I figured the app would fill me in. My pool store had this on the shelf but knew nothing about it.

Looks like you achieved a very nice setup. I do have a question, do you still have a pool company that services your pool or just use phin? in regards to your phin and the cover, have you tried moving the receiver into your outdoor kitchen area? perhaps it needs to be closer? also, I have a very similar fridge (I'm in Florida so its possible YMMV where you are) but I learned the hard way that there is enough space under the fridge for rats to get in and in my case, find a place to build a nest, have babies and then eventually die. it was a fun day cleaning that stench out. I've since added some mesh chicken wire. You can't see it unless you are looking under the fridge but no more rats.
