This is one of those shows that if given a season 2 and 3 with proper plots and a great studio at the helm, it can become a real classic. The world building was pretty solid. Nothing was over explained, the pacing was weird sometimes but the dopest part is that this was a war anime where not everyone makes it, and if they do make it, they don’t always come out whole. I’m a fan of a little bit of realism to ground some anime traits in a show and this almost did it really well.

I really like this anime: beatiful magic, intresting story, no stupid Harem mechanics (Theo and Siluca are a solid couple since early), side charactes well written, great animation most of time. We need more animes like this.

the best thing about this show was that the MC was truly an ordinary man with no inherit hidden power whatsoever in a world where powerful human and magic exist.

The true winner in this anime is the young dude Petr who gets to bag the tall, ridiculously strong, waifu Aishela. I’m totally not jealous at all…
