I've had SO many requests to share what our routine looks like with a newborn and a toddler. The majority of you are very interested in a few things: How to manage naps and sleep with two? How to balance attention between the two kids? How to find some time for yourself amidst it all? So I thought I could give you guys a sort peek into what a day typically looks like for us and make sure to touch on these topics. Every day is a little different, and this way I can touch on some of the general routines we use, tips and tricks that help me, what naps look like, and do a more overall look at life with a toddler and newborn (10 weeks at the time of filming).

You are remarkable! I am a 71 grandma and my kids were 17 months apart. I went back to work at the Phone Co. after 6 weeks. That’s all you got in 1971/1972. I had my Mom who babysat until they went to school. You can only do your best. Great job. ❤️

I have a 7 month old and a 2 1/2 year old and I totally agree with your approach to just not let sleep or lack of it rule your world. It comes when it comes. You are doing a great job and your little ones are lucky to have such a caring and attentive momma. ❤️

I kept my kids in the crib till they were around 3 just because we were upstairs and I was very concerned they would get a window open or something. I had one of those zip on mesh tents for my crib so they could t climb out.

The outdoors are the best for kids! I've found with my toddler when I feel like the day has been dragging or I'm about to lose my patience, going outside fixes it. Theres so much more room for them to move and it calms them

This realism is exactly what I needed right now as a first time mom of a baby that is 5.5weeks whoy is not sleeping well during the day. Thank you for this! It was good to see a full REAL day with the explanation and the idea of RIGHT NOW, this is the routine.

Totally with you on the morning-me-time! As soon as that is possible (after the newborn phase, after the thoothing phase, after any illness...) I always make this my No. 1 priority!

Thanks for your thoughts on infant sleep! I’m a new mom and the sleep aspect of baby life has been so stressful as there are so many opinions out there about it. I was helped by your reminders that it’s not worth getting worked up about it but to seek consistency. And I am constantly telling myself that every day is a new adventure with a baby :)
