Bose PowerProfile (Cadillac CT6) Bass Enclosure playing Woofer Cooker

Published 2020-11-27
Here is the in-floor Bose PowerProfile bass enclosure from a Cadillac CT6, playing THX - Woofer Cooker. (No woofers were cooked.) You can see the small 2.75" woofers working hard here, and you can hear port noise from feeding solid sub-sonic tones, but there was quite a bit more bass output in my room than what the video conveys; the woofers and enclosure play pretty well down to 40 Hz and even a little below that; in-vehicle, and in the context of a complete system, this enclosure is probably pretty nuts, despite being slim enough to fit in the floor pan of the car. (The backdrop is my bedroom; this enclosure is very long, and takes up most of the width of my bed, but it is the best location for filming a large enclosure like this on a solid-color background.)

  • It's insane how these woofers were also used by Bose on their Videowave TV. Fantastic little drivers!

Are these 4 subs opposed to each other?
