Elijah Wood "RaceTrac" Case: Update Ahkil Crumpton Arrested

What I love is that you got the hair braids right and the sports connection and height. Arrin, when I had first watched some of your use of filters way back when, I couldn’t see some of the detail well enough to understand whether you were seeing pixelations or real things and I have come to highly respect you even when I can’t see each and every thing.

You would never say it yourself, so I'll say it for you - you were spot on!! Of course you were. I have total faith in your skills, Arrin. It's interesting to look back on past videos to read the guesses in the comments after an arrest is made. While it can be really valuable to have input from the public, sometimes the guesses are way off. But, I think it's really cool how you have created a platform with a great balance of your detailed detective skills along with solid input from your followers. I'm beyond impressed as always. Most of all, I'm relieved for Elijah's family. No doubt they've gone through Hell, but hopefully this will bring at least a morsel of peace.

Sometimes the bad guys actually get caught because great policing is done. Every time that happens, it is a good day and some of my cynicism takes a back seat. RIP Elijah. 😪

I am happy for Elijah Wood and his family that they have someone in custody. I hope anyone involved is apprehended and brought to justice. Although there will never be a good reason for his murder, I'm curious what the video shows and what the suspect says. This was another senseless murder. I am astounded at the accuracy of your suggestions. I was convinced as I watched the video, everything you said made sense. I know some viewers suggested the murderer was female, lighter skin color, and a few other thoughts I didn't agree with. But your reasoning really made sense. I thought the person was male, agreed about the braids, the height, was convinced he was in football, but you called it on all that plus the gloves, the weapon, everything, with such accuracy. Your investigative skills are very impressive. Keep up the great work 👍

Wow, Elijah’s case is heartbreaking but I am glad that a suspect has been arrested. Thank you for updating us on his case and for putting so much effort into your videos. Also - I was wondering if you have ever looked into the disappearance of Trevor Deely? He was a young man from Ireland who mysteriously disappeared while walking home from a work party in December 2000. There is CCTV footage from the night he went missing although he has never been found and no suspects have been arrested. Definitely an interesting case with a lot of CCTV available if you are interested in researching another case.

I have been down a rabbit hole in regards to Ahkil Crumpton. I watched all his foot ball videos, scrolled threw all his social media…. It’s mind blowing. He’s an extremely talented football player, extremely athletic and seems to have good grades in high school and college. He posted a bible verse on twitter 5 days after the RaceTrac shooting. Nothing extremely religious but its notable because almost all his social media is football related. Ahkils actions don’t make sense to me.

Thank you for this video, Arrin. I am still most perplexed by the walkie-talkie. I am convinced he had it in his hand, based on your video analysis. Yet, the sheriff indicated in the press conference that he did not believe anyone else was involved. This just doesn’t sit well with me. I can’t stop thinking about the walkie-talkie, and why Ahkil would’ve had it in the store. So very many details that I hope we all find out one day. Could what we thought was a walkie talkie actually have been a police scanner?

Ok so I watched this yesterday but didn't comment right away. I was so invested in this case... Still am. I was blown away when you said Akhil Crumpton. I am a diehard Georgia Bulldog fan/follower. Akhil was a WR & such a promising young athlete. I'll be following closely because now I NEED to know motive! Elijah's family needs answers so I pray Akhil gives them the answers. I'll never understand how a person can be so blessed with skills for a promising future and then just throw it all away...... Excellent work Arrin!

The gloves made me chuckle. I remember someone on the original video you posted about this pointing out the gloves as a pair someone locally-based wore for sports (I think) and my knee-jerk reaction was "I doubt they'd wear something they've worn before." I may end up being totally wrong there. Go figure. Anyway, like I said before: I hope Elijah's loved ones get their answers. They deserve peace. I'm going to marathon Steven's case again while I declutter my closet. 🧡
