That’s actually an insane stat that the Yankees had never been swept by an NL team at home in the regular season.

The Reds just embarrassed the Yankees this week and made it look easy.

I’m glad the All-Star break is right around the corner because it was looking ugly for the Yankees even before they just got swept. This team needs a serious reset to get themselves back on track to playing the way they should.

Just like in the 1976 MLB World Series, the Reds sweep the Yankees (The Reds are the last NL team to date to win back-to-back WS titles btw). They become the first NL team to sweep an interleague series at the Bronx.
