This video is me lecturing you on the 4005 failing (again), showing the replacement of the CPU (for the second time), booting the panel back up, and then, at the end, explaining the current issue I'm having with it that has been hindering me from having the wall systems project completed.

I LOVE your Kenwood radio video's ! ! ! I picked up a Kenwood NX220 K2 VHF with the programming soft wear it will be my railroad radio for railfanning also picked up a TK 2180 VHF also have the Bearcat SDS100 and the Bearcat 536 HP hope soon to get the 436HP too

I got a Simplex 4010 that is a earlier one by the date, 10/7/97, being that it was 1998 when they were fully in production, and mine has a lighter gray strip compared to the later ones that have a darker strip, hope you will be able to fix your 4005!!

Sorry to hear your 4005 is having issues. Hope you get that level 4 code squared away soon. Cant wait to see the systems going once the project is final. Do you plan on keeping that old cpu board? I got a 4005 a month or so ago for a very cheap price because it didn't work. Old power supply was shot and had scorch marks leaving soot inside the cabinet. But when I replaced it, the cpu still has the same problem it had originally where it just beeped. No lights and keys didn't work. If you don't plan on keeping it, could we possibly arrange something and i can take it off of your hands? I could probably pop the chip from mine into that one and hopefully it fixes the problem.
