reading Jung is like taking a stroll inside a dream that is a circular maze, you feel like all of this is things you've thought, but couldn't articulate, and upon waking cannot recall. Much appreciated..

I seriously mean this comment: the stutters and mistakes in your speech is what I genuinely appreciate most about this reading. It makes it so human. Many & much wellness to you my friend❤

Honestly the best description of the human condition in this is "fuck how much longer is this". I sincerely hope this never gets deleted
  • You know you listened to the whole thing when you hear the, “$”&@,” and “How much longer is this $”&@?” Lmao! Bravo sir, your efforts did not go unnoticed
  • For people that don't know alchemy was not the same as modern chemistry but rather a blend of speculative philosophy, spiritual beliefs, and experimental practices. Many great minds were interested in alchemy during their life.
  • I have just completed a BSc degree in Psychology and Carl Jung did not get a single mention throughout those 3 years. This Man is one of my hero's and my bookcase is longing to accommodate this book. Thank you for sharing.

I like the way the reader either got frustrated reading or was genuinely tired of reading. I had a wif moment listening and found it funny and humbling and much respect to the reader.
  • I cannot WAIT to watch this once I get off work! Carl Jung is BY FAR my FAVORITE psychologists ever because the fact he adds spirituality consciousnesses and past life conditioning into his teachings of the human consciousness/unconsciousness!!
  • Ah, Jung. So respected, so brilliant, so hard to understand. So above the rest of us. Keep climbing. Blessings.

This reading reminds me of the first time I heard an adult curse in church. Lol I appreciate this version soooooooo much! Thank you, sir!
  • Well done on this narration, it epitomises everything that’s good about YouTube. I’m glad you stuck with it!

I feel like if your on a journey of the self; What's your purpose in life;how can you give back to others with the time you have on this earth;how can you make a difference; this is a great book to read. For you to assist others with their psych,or understand cultural and religious beliefs and customs though a lens that's not clouded by your own beliefs, one must first BREAK DOWN and understand their own beliefs and thought processes. This book does just that, it makes you think of yourself and all your prior learnings/teachings with an out of the box scrutiny that if one truly applies to themselves no longer allows you to judge one religion or cultural belief/practice any more or less that you do your own. Not the best writing, sorry for the run on sentences but that's the best way I could describe this book and what it did for me 🥰
  • I love your narrative voice. I used to watch all of your game of thrones review videos with zeal. So glad I found this audio/video, made my day. I love that you read Carl Jung. Hopefully you will read some more? :)

ooo My favourite audio reader and my favourite Psychologist. Thank you Alt Shift! <3
  • Oh my god, I was so blown away when I heard Alt Shift X’s voice. It’s so cool to see you doing something as esoteric as this! I loved your ASOIAF, Westworld, The Expanse, Raised By Wolves, & other (science) fiction world-building stuff (great taste btw— many of my favorite series! You should do one about Dark 😁), but esoteric philosophy, metaphysics/ontology, consciousness studies, physics/cosmology/chemistry, psychology, history, politics, & economics, etc. are my great passions & I have been on a spiritual path not unlike that described by Jung.

I love the style of this reading. It’s professional quality, personal delivery. I think the delivery is key. You avoid the trap of sounding robotic or bored, but are transparent to an extent. So subtle, but it’s really a master piece of an audiobook. Good work! Wait, where’s part 2!!!!!?!?
  • @JimiOob
I really hope there will be more parts of this! <3
