WOODS TREE FARM at In The WOODYARD!

He drove 16 hours just to talk about firewood... so we did that! Phil from Woods Tree Farm came all the way from Virginia to visit us In The Woodyard today and we have a great firewood business talk!

Great interview Chris. Phil has a great channel as well, another down to earth guy, a common theme in most of the firewood community. Good Night Irene. 👍🏻👍🏻

  • The reason I started doing wood was the blizzard of 1978 because I put in a wood furnace. I was a teacher and didn't make a lot of money so couldn't afford a mechanical splitter and I was doing it for the exercise. I used a 15 lb. monster maul until I was 55. I loved my maul, and it did what I wanted it to do. I wasn't doing it for money. I now have a Timberwolf with a 4-way head and love it. I wish I had done it sooner. I always buy professional equipment because it lasts longer and does a better job. My splitter will sell for more than I paid for it.
