Great interview Chris. Phil has a great channel as well, another down to earth guy, a common theme in most of the firewood community. Good Night Irene. 👍🏻👍🏻

The reason I started doing wood was the blizzard of 1978 because I put in a wood furnace. I was a teacher and didn't make a lot of money so couldn't afford a mechanical splitter and I was doing it for the exercise. I used a 15 lb. monster maul until I was 55. I loved my maul, and it did what I wanted it to do. I wasn't doing it for money. I now have a Timberwolf with a 4-way head and love it. I wish I had done it sooner. I always buy professional equipment because it lasts longer and does a better job. My splitter will sell for more than I paid for it.
