Going on a rant about not calling it "Shed Ninja" and then immediately having it labelled as Shedninja after the rant is peak
  • @LexLuxray
Obviously the correct answer is Tera Bug Incineroar
  • @Hironomus
I love the bug type's image of having a lot of weaknesses to overcome but being capable of greatness when placed in just the right niche. It feels like such good synergy between mechanics and narrative. One of my all time favorite types to use.

Conversational Wolfe videos are so good, but these last two typing videos have been super complemented by their incredible editing. Just an awesome one-two punch between Wolfe and the editor.
  • @ExeloMinish
There's something endlessly funny about having an actual major contender write documentaries. "Escavalier won worlds once... the guy brought it specifically to counter me" is both hilarious to hear and yet totally factual
  • @EclipseonPMD
"please do not spell it "Shed Ninja"" Spells it as Shedninja seconds later. Brilliant.
  • The Tapu lele-Accelgor strategy and the Shuckle-Mimikyu strategy sound super fun! Bug type made for a really interesting video.
  • @the_one_gio
Fun fact: The Scizor I used to Top Cut Salt Lake City Regionals, got removed at Round 2 for having the wrong Special Attack Stat.
  • Ironically enough, despite Wolfe saying theres not much good bug types, this is the longest "best pokemon of X type" video so far.
  • The editing on this channel is maybe some of the best I find on all of YT these days, definitely so for the Pokémon community. Huge kudos to the editors.
  • @Popmycherryyo
The editing is so good! And I can't even IMAGINE how long the videos must be to actually edit, but HELL it's cool to see the results!
  • @Nukepositive
It's kind of like this series is going in casual gameplay order. You covered the starters. Then the bugs so common in early game. I guess next would be either flying or normal, since those are common wild pokemon in the early game.
  • @katoatoato
18:53 If Wolfey is questioning what you are cooking with your team composition you know you are doing something truly wild.
  • @JustAnOnion
Personally I really love these "Best Pokemon of each Type" videos as I dont play competitive myself but really enjoy your content and learning the History of the Competitive Scene is really interesting since I didnt start watching you until after ScVi came out. I hope you continue these videos in the future.
  • @floraphore
I said this before, but your videos have really boosted on the editing value! It's super helpful for staying visually engaged while listening to the cool Pokemon analysis 😎
  • @TheSpaceOpera
I love Shedninja. Man, shedninja. What a Pokémon shedninja is.

Another one of Butterfree's major wins was under the control of 9-year-old Simone Lim of Singapore, who won the 2020 Juniors division at the Oceania International Championships with one alongside a team of more common VGC mainstays - Tyranitar, Excadrill, Gyarados, Rotom-Heat and Whimsicott. She actually made Butterfree her Gigantamax Pokemon, had it wear a Choice Scarf, and gave it a moveset of Pollen Puff, Sleep Powder, Hurricane and U-turn.

Editor went ham in this video! Loved the Invincible joke lol
