All Rambo wanted was something to eat. And he got more than he wished for -- a whole roasted pig smoked to perfection.

What killed me was the reporter stated that their highly police training saved them from Rambo 😂.

Troutman's line "i didnt come here to save him from you, Im here to save you from him" is one of the most iconic movie quotes ever. In the end the colonel was 100% spot on

You’d think someone who just survived an encounter with Rambo would fully grasp the reality of the Colonel’s words.

5:32 i love the lines that Troutman said in that scene "you send that many your forgetting 1 thing" "a Good supply of Body bags" that line never gets old
  • "God didn't make Rambo. I made him!" One of the best opening lines of a character in cinematic history!!
  • In some ways this movie was ahead of its time. When Rambo talks about being in charge of multi million dollar equipment and then coming back to civilian life that hit deep.

Brian Dennehy. An actor that could portray totally likeable and loathsome characters with the same ease and persuasion. RIP.

"When police brutality goes wrong", was always the lesson I had taken from this movie as an 80s kid.
  • @AsianShadowrunner
Before John Wick was first debuted, Rambo laid the foundation to the best introduction.
  • "Strictly speaking, he slipped up. You're lucky to be breathing". 🤣 As a Marine & Desert storm Vet, I just love that answer by Trautman.
  • Richard Crenna absolutely nailed it in this movie. He's so underrated. RIP.

It was in fact a great movie but many veterans have been treated like Rambo was, sad part about it is... It still happens to this day. To all the Vietnam Veterans out there, welcome home! To all veterans and service members past and present, Thank you for your service!

Growing up in the military I met guys like John Rambo, and I learned some survival skills from them. Some edible plants, making weapons from items I found, how to track, how to hide when I wanted to, and how to make a shelter. Col. Troutman's line "God didn't make Rambo, I made him" sounds so much like some of the Special Forces commanders that I met. They ALL had one or two members that the commanders considered their own, almost like children.
  • "God didn't make Rambo. I made him". One of the greatest movie quotes of all time.

This is one of the greatest movie scenes ever. “Trained to eat things that would make a billy goat puke.” That line always gets me laughing.

"Eat things that'd make a billy goat puke" always makes me giggle. Love that line, lmao.

A movie that taught us to respect the veterans, especially the ones who can't fit back in.
