On Roblox, popular games come and go. Some are memorable and iconic, and some are forgotten by players as quick as they skyrocketed to relevancy. Today, we're going to be exploring the abandoned games of Roblox's fading past.

CORRECTIONS: 1) HopperBins technically stopped working in early 2014, as server-side support for them was removed to fix a vulnerability. They were removed for good in October 2015, though. It's funny to me how long they lasted, as they were initially added to Roblox in March 2005 during development, long before release.

For Twisted Murderer, there is still a very loyal fanbase to the game (mostly rich or people from the era of Twisted Murderer's peak; they usually dress up as 2015-2017 players), where if you search up the game, there will most likely be a server that people will still play! The same could be said for the Quarry too! (But it's less noticeable)
  • Dead Roblox games are the definition of mysterious. You have some old games that are actually bad, but some old mysterious games with lore like The Normal City.

Seeing Kingdom Life 2 in this video was such a shock to me!! It was a huge part of my childhood and I was in the official discord server when the news broke of what DevBuckette had done. I had no idea that Dev hadn't been the original creator! I'm so greatful to watch videos like this and learn stuff like that! ps. The game is getting updates still from different devs! It's just under the name Kingdom Tales now so that Dev doesn't get any of the profits :]

seeing a game once-enjoyed now barren gives off a sort of nostalgic abandoned feeling. as if youve stumbled upon something humanity has moved on from and now left abandoned. it feels like it goes for most media too, like old 2000s shows with dead communities. maybe im weird but it does gives off a large nostalgic feeling even if i didnt experience the history while it was popular im probably crazy lol
  • @TheThe-mn7os
One game you’ve forgotten is chaos washers, used to play that for hours on end with hundreds of people in the game but now there’s nobody ever in it
  • @TriumphantIdents
There are actually several games I remember big YouTubers like EthanGamerTV playing that slowly started to die out in terms of popularity, whether it's because of games simply becoming more popular, or the games simply not working at all (chances of the latter happening are slim.) I remember really liking these games due to their appealing visuals and fun mechanisms, and playing them a ton with some of my friends. I honestly hope these games experience a resurgance in Roblox's current state, since there needs to be more people playing classics like Fisticuffs, Eat or Die, Make a Cake for the Giant Noob (and it's Noob-missing counterpart, Make a Cake...) etc.

note: greenwood town had in it a secret, which was a secret torture chamber and a Ghost who wanders under the city. if i recall well, both secrets got removed

My favorite game as a kid was something called “hunters life” or something like that, it was surprisingly interactive. It was an RPG game with quests from back in like 2012-2014.
  • @spidergames3004
watching these videos always gives me flashbacks of games i've played but just completely forgot throughout my 12 years on the platform. thank you for the amount of effort put into bringing these memories back^^
  • It's sad to see someone's game which used to be popular in 2007-2010 now nearly lost to time. Also, for my early 2018 people, who remembers Psycho Cats and MAD Paintball 2? I Remember playing these back in the day, they are just now empty games.
  • @ironici
Thanks for covering Zeekerss' games. I didn't know so many good games (it steals, lethal company) were all made by the same person. and i really enjoyed playing A Lucid Dream back then
  • @MrkyMoo22
Mad Murder and Twisted Murderer were some of the old Roblox games I played almost 24/7 back in 2015/16. It sucks that both games don't work well at all anymore :(
  • @MilkPit
12:30 Being on the osc is cool, because ever then and there you notice something from the osc in other media, like, that's Eraser from BFDI asset in a random roblox game unrelated to the osc
  • @alexwasherefirst
I didn’t expect to see the ADIO skatepark; I’ve spent so much time there, and have shown this place to so many of my friends. Thank you for adding this game to the video
  • @567koala
Thanks for showing Nevermoor's Murder Mystery in the video bro, I appreciate the word being spread. Always welcome to use the game however you need 👍
  • @helloolleh_dis
Fall Down Stairs was a great game that I remember playing long ago. Really nostalgic.
  • @avp_youtube
23:14 This reminds me of another old game that was similar to this, but I forgot the name of it. It was a mystery type of game, where you have to find out who's it. The person who's it would look like a normal player at first but can switch to a purple ghost and kill others. The normal players would have to find out who's it, take a picture of the person in their ghost form using a camera, and upload it to a computer before getting killed. This was a really fun game, and I hope someone else remembers it.
  • @alexwasherefirst
It’s nice to see Twisted Murderer be mentioned, that one was my favorite of the murderer game genre.
  • @futchleon
