Nobody in the USA or Europe ever asks the question what would happen if the Chinese Navy would be 10 miles from Florida.
  • The key: The Philippines and its more than 7000 islands which is the equivalent of hundreds of aircraft carriers and thousands of supply ships and troop transports. The country is practically at China's doorsteps and just across Taiwan, especially the northern regions. All of China's militarized islands in the South China Sea are within the striking distance of land based missiles and drones launched from the Philippines. Chinese naval ships and planes heading towards Taiwan can also be hit by missiles and drones from the Philippines. China can be denied access to and use of the Bashi Channel by American forces stationed in the Philippines. China is expected to hit Taiwan's air and naval bases hard to degrade Taiwan's air and naval assets. Taiwan's airplanes and ships can relocate to the Philippines when war erupts. American long range missiles and drones that can hit Chinese bases in parts of Mainlad China that are facing Taiwan can be stationed in the Philippines With the Philippines on America's side, US aircraft carriers can be deployed farther from Mainland China, making them safer. American planes, bombers and ships can be positioned, maintained and resupplied in the Philippines where they can be protected by land based anti-air systems. American response time to any Chinese attempt to invade Taiwan will be greatly reduced. And the over 300k military and security personnel of the Philippines can play various roles in support of the US.

I couldn't believe it when I first read about the deployment. HALF of our carriers. IIRC that's the largest carrier deployment since WWII isn't it? Such a flex. Kinda hope we get some pictures of them all in one massive formation even if that's a huge opsec risk
  • China get a rude shock when they see Australian F-35 flying over Taiwan and Hong Kong
  • Actually deployment would be better in Japan and The Philippines. The US wouldn’t want to put its carriers at risk. Until the hypersonic anti-ship missiles were neutralized.

China just launched its 3rd Aircraft Carrier and a 4th is on the way. At this rate, US will no longer have dominance in the Pacific..
  • People saying how the us would feel if the reverse was true, forget that us isnt the one claiming overseas territory as their own
  • @t3rr411
We're just telling china to chill down by alot
  • @mutedforever
A majority of these carriers will require Maintenace, one is being decommissioned and the sailors will need to rotate back to shore. Just means the Navy will be down 5 carriers for multiple months +
  • @racook7534
We are eventually going to need a 15 carrier Navy, for this very reason.

The Taliban: "They escaped from us" "They want to pick a fight with China" "So we are stronger than China"
  • Because somebody in the U S is looking for war, people in state department are crazy, so some in the pentagon who are connected with military industrial complex.

The narrator sounds much more serious and subdued in this than any other video I’ve heard with him in it. It unnerves me slightly

Elephants know the location of their burial ground and make their way there as they are dying.
  • We forget about the contributions of our allies, Japan, ROK, Philippines, Australia, Singapore, Thailand, Papua New Guinea, Micronesia, and Vietnam at our peril.
  • @mitchpalmer5116
Is china's navy called The Peoples Liberation Army Navy? 😅
  • @tomallan5000
You know in 1941 US moved the fleet from San Francisco to Pearl Harbor. Look how that worked out for US.
