On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

  • Check out the Store: growling-sidewinder.creator-spring.com/ Thank you for watching, I hope everyone is enjoying the civilian aspect in these videos, I think it adds a nice layer of complexity and makes things a little more interesting. Thank you watching guys Much Love.
  • @Flamamacue
This is gonna have me glued to the window seat next time I'm on a commercial flight to ensure I'm not missing out on any surprise dogfights going on in the area
  • I love daily pilot school with Sidewinder... I don't even play DCS, but I find this shit fascinating. Ten minute movies, followed by a breakdown. He's taught me more about combat flight in three years, and the why behind the what, than almost any other source. Growling understands that the artistry of his flight skill comes from a mastery of his plane's capabilities.
  • @TemplarDCS
GS always does the most with the camerawork to display what's going on, always nice
  • @starbase218
"He may be fine with slinging his missiles wherever they go." Yeah.. as a Dutch person, we had some experience with that. MH17, July 17th, 2014.
  • @charlescomly1
I like how you are creating more complicating situations that mimick possible real life senerios.
  • @gaiofattos2
Everyone gangsta until Airbus launch their meteors.
  • @Joshj963
I'm late to the comments but, I gotta say that I really enjoy adding realism with the implementation of civilian aircraft. Hope to see more but I also really enjoy and look forward to your content.
  • Cessna... Chaff... Both start with C. Great video! I love the complexity of non-combatants in the airspace. Also, it's hard for me to visually orient or determine altitude over the ocean, so blacking out while pointing at the sea makes me even more nervous than usual blackouts.
  • "Uhh, Speedbird 320, advise you fly heading 140 and max forward airspeed. Possible international incident in progress."
  • Never would have thought a Fox-1 missile would have a legitimate advantage over a Fox-3 but we've found it. Doing this in an F-14 would be very difficult due to the lack of data link but also potentially helpful
  • The next one you do, you should have the airspace extremely congested with an enemy with a large loadout actively engaging the civilian craft, see how many of them you can save.
  • @jasons9564
I fly a 182 for my job and I really want an RWR now. lol. The addition of the civilian AC is a really cool. Definitely need more videos with that.
  • Great execution of a really interesting scenario, GS! Bonus points for integrity at 13:15. That demonstrates good character to break that down that way. Thanks for such quality content, man!
  • @jeo228
This reminds me of the mission in project wingman where all the civilians are talking about your dog fight as the feds confiscate phones for filming you kicking their butt in civi airspace
  • @Keith52188
I think it would be cool to do the same scenario with the F22, if the bandits are using the commercial airliners to mask their movement use the stealth of the F22 to mask your's
  • Loving the videos rn! I like coming home from a long day and sitting down to learn about the anatomy of aviation combat! One thing that I feel would be an interesting mission to play, would be an older SEAD Mission (maybe set in Vietnam or perhaps older?) With Prowlers attacking ZSU-23s and SAM sites. Sort of like the movie Flight of the Intruder. I'm curious how they did it in the old days. Thanks for the great content!
  • l quite like the real world feel of commercial aviation nearby. Good one, GS, thanks.
  • Minute 5:31 I experienced some spatial disorientation with the clouds and the sea perfectly blending and that give me the feeling that you were high cranking to the left and dropping altitude... It was crazy
  • @Yosh1az
imagine enjoying your flight and out of nowhere fighter jets and missiles zooming past your flight it would be awesome and scary at the same time
