I still like sentinels, the feeling of being able to watch 3-4 angles on your own soothes my paranoia that thinks an enemy could be anywhere and that the game might turn into horrorant with enemies popping out of corners.
  • Rule for every role : Duelist : be the first to enter. Controller : don't be the first to enter unless duelist isn't there. Sentinel : don't be the first to enter unless duelist isn't there. Initiator : don't be the first to enter unless duelist isn't there.
  • "Don't flame your teammates" Literally every rank game players: I'll pretend I didn't hear that
  • Playing sentinel but specifically killjoy gives me a sense of security knowing that I basically have 2 extra teammates that I can trust to hold positions and tag enemies when my other teammates aren't
  • This is exactly what valo players need to understand. I keep telling my team that they need to play like the role they have picked. You cant play slow with a duelist or wait for someone to ask for a smoke. Being proactive is key to getting the control of the rounds. Being a duelist you should have the mindset to push into a site without the fear of dying. Sure try not to die but if your team is getting the full control of site because you pushed and got the info then that's good for you too. You got the round! and you will get +ve RR when you win the match, not when you drop 40 kills and still lose the match. Prioritize winning the round over kills.
  • I love playing Skye because she's so versatile : I can either check if there's people and flash them with skye's flashes, but I can heal my team and use my wolf too. She can play solo or team and that's what I like so much. She's really easy to play too.
  • As a controller and sentinel (Viper, Astra, Omen, KJ, Sage, and Cypher) main i really wanted to learn initiator role like sova, breach or kay/o because i know they are the most valuable role for now especially in rank games.
  • @Mythpathz
I think most important thing on a team is good communication and teamwork
  • 11:15 that’s when you trick the enemy into thinking it’s a “normal predictable setup”, they look up to shoot the turret and BAM! JUDGE TO THE FACE!
  • @painong
As an initiator i do more pushing and clearing than anyone else, especially with fade because she is perfect for both offence and defence, I end up carrying 85% of my games because of this
  • QOTD: I agree initiators are the most important role. Information is one of the biggest things that can make or break round, even games, in valorant. Initiators are by far the best at acquiring information
  • @T4nish
I love playing astra, it’s extra ability of taking back her star is very underrated and and can be used in a very versatile way
  • Sargent and team always help us to play properly and understand our roles and mistakes... thanks
  • i just started playing valorant a week ago and your videos have been super helpful to the learning curve
  • @hal0byte
Kayo kinda has everything, he has info gathering, flashes for entry, molly to help cut angles, and a ult that allows him to comfortably entry
  • I often use sentinel because sometimes i got teams that really have “idiotic strategy” where they try to guard only 1 point side and i was like “Must i do everything by my self!?” That’s why i’m maining chamber.

I like controllers, mainly because it tought me the most about angles, and dealing with long sightlines where i dont have the aim to headshot consistently
  • i started playing more with Kayo/ Skye Lately and its clear they have to different ways of being played. I like being aggressive with both of them but it always fucks me over when I dont play smart. These tips help alot
