Kris Johnson, freshman sensation Baron Davis and the 12th-ranked UCLA Bruins, travel Southeast to face Trajan Langdon, freshman sensation Elton Brand (who was returning from foot surgery) and the second-ranked Duke Blue Devils, in a late-season non-conference showdown.

Game played on Sunday, February 22, 1998 at Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, North Carolina.

    Duke & UConn all season, plus Michigan St. Ohio St. & so much more. This was a special year for basketball & for me personally. This Duke team was off the hook, so good! Those pull up 3's by Langdon & Avery & then Brand & Maggette-O!!!!!!!!!! ... phenomenal.

    It's really cool when you have titanic big-names like this playing true home games. I remember Duke traveled to Pauley in '92 and '95, but I sometimes forget the Bruins made this trip to Cameron Indoor.
