I find things at estate sales and auctions, charity shops, and thrift stores, and even pluck treasures from Goodwill bins and street curbs as they are headed towards the landfill.

Buying rescued treasures helps the planet! If we could all stop buying new things from the big box stores and start treasuring the beautiful things that already exist, we could lessen our personal impact on the planet. That is what YoSoBoHo is all about!

The Spanish lady brought back a memory from 60 years ago! I used to ice skate and the rink held a fancy dress competition. My Mum was a tailor and made me a costume like that!! (Hmm, I wonder if there is a picture somewhere.....) Thanks for that, Amy.
