This has been a very interesting series. The way the plot progresses makes it interesting, we're shown that the skeleton's death is not the end, so immediately his death isn't as big a source of tension as death would be for other characters. So that then shifts the tension to other things, how can he get the results he wants, who is going to die this time around. What is the best way to proceed, who can he trust, what can he do now, these sorts of things. The actions taken by the various demon lords seem interesting as they seem to be in a relationship similar to that of the Chaos Gods in Warhammer. Where they do desire dominion over the world, but they also fight each other for supremacy. I do wonder if Isaac at full power could beat Vibiro, or if the fact Malphas seems to have less influence than Boltis directly affects the power they each possess. And currently Malphas seems to be the one painted in the best light of any of the demon lords we know more about, but that's probably due to not being on the other end of it as much, and even still he'd be bad cause he also desires human destruction to a good degree. Also Marquis Leondro seems like a good person, he's just very forward, very focused on duty and honor, and very, very persistent. If at all possible to get on his good side and gain him as an ally I'm sure it'd be much easier to get a better outcome. Though with how strong that crossdressing duke is, our skeleton will need to get a lot stronger to win. I also wonder what our skeleton's real name even is, he obviously was important enough in life to warrant someone defacing his tombstone to erase his name. But that just begs the question of who exactly was he before.

For those who do not know assimilation is the ability to learn to fit in and basically as he gets it lower the harder and harder it will be to get new skills unless he can raise it.

Theory The only ones that can carry over their memories are those whose destiny can be changed and fate locked, but only in such a way that their new destiny can logically take place before the "starting point" of the story and naturally progress into the continuation of the starting point of the story. This is why magic man will never carry over his memories or have his destiny changed, because he would too drastically alter events if he did not start out locked away.

Damn, this is so INTERESTING! I would totally invest in making this an anime! A regular skeleton soldier in the background of every anime ever suddenly gains sentience and starts levelling up a great concept. But the time lapses are amazing, and map out the story with insane detail! I love this! Can't wait for the next few chapters!
