“After flying 117 miles-“ Halo music intensifies

If you're parachute fails you have the rest of your life to fix it.
-
People who make movies need to understand planes don’t suddenly drop out of the sky in the event of an engine failure
-
Unless of course your airplane gets hit by a birdstrike of Canada geese 2 minutes after takeoff causing both engines to fail with your airplane barely 3000 feet over Manhattan on a cold winter day. But that would of course never happen.

20 minutes? Damn, this proves that you really have that effort in you Aaron, you deserve a million subs
-
There are a couple of things you can do to extend that glide. This reminds me of the Gimli-glider. Awesome story
-
Unless MCAS detects a stall-warning that is
-
Let’s face it, it’s a 737 max, we all know he took multiple attempts to do this 💀
-
ok, now I'm not really scared of planes
-
You should see if you can simulate the glide of Air Transat 236 into the Azores with no engines on an Airbus 330.
-
The pilot YouTuber (i forgot his name, the one that debunks TikTok “airplane passenger” hacks) basically said that if one engine failed, it would still fly
-
I’ve always wondered this, thanks Aaron!

GLIDE RATIO: 17,7:1 all calculated

The engine: But you didn't have to cut me off
-
Just 20 mins to get to the other side of the state is just crazy
-
You should see how fast you can get across Florida with an f-22
-
What you may not know is that the descent from cruise altitude is normally made at or near idle power until the airplane needs to level off to meet a crossing altitude restriction or arrival in the terminal area.
-
Only time you really need to worry is if you're a long way over water. Extremely rough weather or RAT / APU start failure (which you might not know about, as the flight crew may not want to cause distress)

"who needs engines?"ahh China airline
