Jesus Christ. He got absolutely outplayed.

Man though he was playing, but his controller was unplugged all along.

The dude behind this whole thing is a fucking genius. Imagine fabricating such an elaborate story and keeping track of it all. Dude should be a screen writer.
  • @CBFW_KO
That man earned every penny of the 1.5Million. Bravo to him for writing a brilliant story

damn. this is a crazy ass story. i think i heard an interview of DPR's mom and she described how her son was a good boy but is now stuck in prison for life just for computer hacking. the thing is... even if the hits he paid for never actually happened and were DPR getting scammed... DPR was still paying for a hit. the intent is there. dude tried to erase 6 people. nuts.
  • Imagine engaging in such activities and basically documenting it every step of the way. These guys literally did all the criminal investigators work for them.
  • @williamzhao2456
I was so shocked that this whole scam scheme was run by 1 person. The absolutely cognition and planning that guy executed was something I've heard in a very long time. God damn
  • How can he be such a genius to come up with Silk Road to make it work, and yet so stupid to not realize he was being scammed? He knows the whole point is you can’t verify who people are, yet he just started to talk to a no one.
  • @vi_draws
The fact that DPR was basically told how he was going to get scammed -- the scammer would build reputation through previous smaller transactions (the 5 "hits"), leading up to one big transaction in which the scammer flakes on (the last $500k) -- is truly another level of poetic irony. This had all the foreshadowing, intrigue, and twists of a great drama. I'd be mortified, if I wasn't so impressed and entertained.

Imagine being in court qnd finding out all that money you sent was for nothing to happen. Dude was probably sick af when he found out.
  • “This isn’t my first rodeo” said DPR confidently, even though it was, in fact, the first time he’d heard about rodeos at all.
  • @kempolar9768
What a surprise that when dealing in shady business no one was sure who was going to betray the others. As a general rule don't do stuff that could leave you constantly looking over your shoulder out of fear.
  • Dude spent money to kill people he never met, using the services of a hit man he never met, meaning he had no way of knowing if any of the killings actually happened. Damn. The breth of some people's supidity....
  • Ross is the type of guy who when he breaks up with his virtual girlfriend hears his uncle start crying in the other room.
  • The fact that lucydrop used different writing styles to impersonate different people.😂 He must've had real fun playing this game.
  • @willalba7083
This is by far the best narration of this story. It's been told by many but this is the first time I completely got it and never got lost with all names involved.
  • @JBrodo
Geez, let you mind wander for 5 seconds and realize you have to rewind 10 minutes back because you can't figure out what is happening 😂. I can't believe you managed to put all this together!
  • @fredzep01
Word of warning, if a plan in the criminal world goes to smoothly
or the person you're interacting with is too accommodating
then it's either a scam or a cop....
  • @ZachGatesHere
The fact that Ross missed the slip up from RLD name dropping friendlychemist is amazing. If he'd called RLD out on that the entire scam would have collapsed.
  • I know this sounds weird but I seriously wanted this video to last 10 hours longer. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time
  • Red and white sounded incredibly suspicious, I thought they seemed like a scammer! This is awesome, hope to see more in the future
