I didn't even plan on downloading VRChat until I saw this video recommended to me. So rare to see a tutorial on anything that's as informative, engaging, and well put together as this one! Well done, and you've convinced me!

That earmuff mode looks like a lifesaver for people like myself with audio-processing issues.

I don't consider myself as a newbie, but i still love seeing these types of videos. I've put around 200 hours on Vrchat and i'm already at the Known User rank. I was a desktop user for around a month until i got a quest 2, now i only play it on PCVR. Good part of my time in VRC has been joining conversations, playing some games in it, messing around with my avi and helping new people to have an enjoyable time as well. Even though it's not flawless, the community is awesome and i've been having a blast with this game. Also i do understand why people put more than 2k hours in it.

I recently started playing VRChat and it has me hooked already - I'm just a week in! Thanks for the updated guide - will definitely be sharing this with my friends and referring back to it myself!

I binge watched almost all of your videos and finally got a quest 2 now that it's relatively "cheaper". If you go into Prismic's avatar search, start an invite only instance, get your avatar and then screw around with the settings Phia suggested. My first time on VRchat I didn't play with the settings at all, went into Prismic's avatar search on a decent gaming PC through SteamVR and still, it was too overwhelming. Dip your toe into vrchat on invite only instances and then work on your vr legs. Eagle top avalanche rush world rules!
