This guy is such a monster that they drug tested him a record 51 times in 1 year - they seemed almost certain that he had to be on the juice. Yet he passes them all, what a legend, mad respect to Jiri.
  • My favorite things about Jiri are how unpredictable he is and how creative he is. You never know how he might end a fight, and that makes him really exciting to watch.
  • And now he's the UFC Light Heavyweight Champ. What a warrior! Edit: he's no longer the champion, but it's because he vacated it after being injured because he didn't want to hold back other fighters from having their shot at the belt whilst he recovers. This man is quickly becoming one of my favorite fighters. All others should follow his lead in the sport.
  • That spinning back elbow against Reyes is probably one of my favorite knockouts of his. It's both calm and savage at the same time.

This man has to hold the record for most KOs via flying knee 😳💪🏾
  • I love that he finds a creative way to finish his opponent even when he's exhausted in the final minutes of the fight. Truly a spectacle.

Am I the only one who thinks that - especially as he got more mature - he has great self-control after defeating his opponents? It is like he knows exactly when his opponent is defeated, and stops himself mid-momentum, sometimes before even the referee seems to have fully reacted. That is a very admirable aspect, and perhaps it is even a bit risky if you misjudge it.

That elbow then spinning one, on Reyes, so masterful. This guy has the correct instincts.
  • Jiri is one of my favorite fighters right now. Can’t wait to see the rest of his career in the UFC. 29-3 with 28 finishes is nuts.
  • What a great Slavic samurai and tremendous fighter with unique style and mindset from Czech lands. I was always rooting for this guy. Hope he will get his belt back after healing his shoulder🇨🇿

As a Czech, I must say that we are all proud of our Samurai.

Absolute LEGEND!!! Cheers from Poland 😉 🇵🇱🇨🇿

I can't help it, but that one-two Oezdemir KO from the perspective that looks on Jiri's back is just textbook perfect. That slowmo looks like a movie. In a fight things don't have to look nice to be effective but damn, I could watch that KO 24/7 and still be amazed.

Jiri is both a unique fighter & a unique person.
  • @anonymous108
One of the more explosive guys 205 has ever seen!
  • This guy would be such a cool street fighter 2 character to add to the game!
  • @anasshahid224
Jiri is one of the most entertaining fighters in UFC, what a beast 👏👏👏🔥
  • @joebobway9525
That Czech is a future MMA hall of famer in my opinion.

Very nice resume. I think Procházka somwhere said, that after defeating Satoshi Ishi he became so popular in Japan, that he was offered to move to first class by flight attendants on his return flight to Europe
