“Pilgrimage is a fantastic word. People go on pilgrimages all the time, not just in a historical or religious sense, but it’s about going and visiting either a place that you feel is special in your life or somebody that’s meant something in your life. You can go on a pilgrimage to go see your great grandfather who died in the First World War for instance. They’re journeys of great weight and importance.” Bx #Saxon #CarpeDiem #ThePilgrimage

As a 19yr old, it is hard to find people who enjoy this kind of music, everyone is talking about rap music and pop music, and I'm just there in the corner listening to stuff like this. I want to try my hand at making music, and if I can actually do it, I'll do everything I can do to bring the sprit of heavy metal and rock n roll into the modern times, because this is some good music

One of the best bands I've heard! Biff's 71 this year! And he's still (IMHO) one of the most powerful and beautifulest heavy metal voices! Wish you well! Saxon lives forever!
  • Hearing that voice at his age, still gives me goosebumps. We'll never get another band like Saxon. 👍

I remember loving Saxon in the Early 80s and listening to Wheels of Steel and Denim & Leather. This band is timeless and gets better with age like a fine wine. This Song is amazing!

I'm a 58 year old from Central PA. In the local mall I came across an album. Castle Donington Monsters of Rock. It featured 2 Rainbow songs, 2 from the Scorpions. April Wine I Like To Rock, a band called Touch Dontcha Know What Love Is. From New York Riot doin Road Racing. Then there was this 3 minute intense metal kick to the senses, Backs To The Wall by the Mighty SAXON !!! That was back in 1984. That one track led me on a mission to acquire the entire library. I even found the Best of Saxon Live 10 year VHS video. Before the internet I was traveling west to Pittsburgh to buy Saxon. I have pretty much their entire library with the last few releases I haven't purchased yet. But soon.
