Type 4 Engine Rebuild: How to Lap Cylinders to Heads - Porsche 914 - 912E T4 Engine Build.

Today we are lapping the cylinders to the head on our 1976 Porsche 912E Type 4 engine, we are using 96mm pistons and cylinders or jugs to make this Type 4 motor to be a 2056.

I recall that some Porsches have teflon lined cylinders that cannot be honed or bored.

It might help if you secured the head so it doesn't move all over the place.
