シン・ゴジラとかゴジラ-1.0をみてふと思ったけど、ゴジラに匹敵するマシン（メカゴジラ）なんかがもし作れるとしたら、それ一台で世界征服できそうな気がする。

ブリキ感のある初代メカゴジラ。 メカメカしい3式機龍。 だけど高級感のある1993が1番好き。レクサスみたいだもん。

メガ・バスターをはじめとする飛び道具とホバーの機動力を駆使してゴジラとの近接戦闘を徹底的に避けつつ、放射熱線はファイアミラーで完全に受けきり、それすらもプラズマ・グレネイドで倍にして返す…。 自衛隊のスーパーX系列の戦い方を踏襲したメカゴジラの戦法だいすき。

ゴジラを再起不能にまで追い詰めたのはVS版メカゴジラだけ

全体的に角張ってて悪人面の昭和メカゴジラに対して、丸みを帯びた美しい流線形の平成メカゴジラ、どちらもむっちゃかっこいい。

この出撃シーンがスーツの最後の撮影とか信じられん。新品の輝き

Still one of my all-time favorite Godzilla movies! My parents taped the English dubbed version of this movie off TV when it aired on the Sci-Fi Channel (Now called “Syfy”) in the early 2000’s. For a long time, this and “Godzilla, King of the Monsters 1956” (The American version of the first Godzilla with Raymond Burr) were the only two Toho Godzilla movies I owned on VHS when I was a kid. It wasn’t until my college years when I bought all of my favorite Godzilla movies on DVD off eBay. I finally own all of the Heisei Godzilla movies, my personal favorite era of Godzilla movies. Most of the Heisei movies, including this one, Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, Godzilla and Mothra: The Battle for Earth, and Godzilla vs. Spacegodzilla, were among the first Godzilla movies I ever saw. They left a huge impression on me as a kid and forever shaped my personal perception of the Godzilla franchise. The Heisei movies always bring back good memories for me and will forever hold a very special place in my heart.
