I think Jenna grew up with her audience. When I was 12 and 13 I loved he loud rambunctious obscenities but not I'm in my 20s and relaxing dog content and plant tours is exactly my speed. It feels like I got to grow up with my cool internet big sister.

I just realized that I pretty much grew up with Jenna. The time that she made those slightly offensive and ridiculous videos was what I liked at the time, so I basically watched her videos all the time. Eventually I grew out of the "offensive is funny" phase and stopped watching her for a while. After a bit I decided to check her out again. Her demeanor completely changed and her humor went to just lighthearted fun, which for a kid that just started to get hit hard by depression, that was what I really needed. Jenna helped me through a lot of shit.
