This is an old video showing the outside of the Great Mall of the Great Plains in Olathe, Kansas before it was torn down in 2016. It was an awesome mall and I hope this brings back good memories to those that used to shop here!

I also have some videos inside the mall before it closed if anyone is interested:

I miss this place a lot. Thanks for bringing back a lot of good memories man. It’s also sad how they haven’t built anything in such an empty land space

So sad to see vacant buildings. To think one time this was a busy place. I hate to think this but I expect more and more malls will close due to Amazon. People find it easier to shop on line. Your video will bring back memories for the locals. Have a great week.
  • I loved it. Awesome! Great work. A big thumbs up on that like button. Went well with my dinner. Thank you KCVids816.
  • Sad when that happens and it always seems a long time before some one buys the land and clears it all. ... Very hot still, can't believe we had all that rain in April! We need some soon for the gardens over here.  Thank you for sharing and have a great weekend, All the best, Julie.

That's a shame what happened. But like all good things they come to an end

Awww. This makes me sad, but thank you for uploading this. Brings back some good memories. I remember opening month vividly, and I spent more than a few weekends at the LAN center by Dickinson's. Appropriate that it was raining during parts of the filming.

Is this your first (Urbex) Urban Exploration Video? I haven’t seen you do so something like this before.

I would have swiped one of those parking lot pole signs
