11:42 "You don't know what death is.. You have no idea what death is!" I remember getting chills hearing this line. It gave you a glimpse into the darkness the character McCall had to endure in his past. Denzel is such an amazing artist.

During the war, Denzel made a visit to talk with wounded soldiers. He noticed that the army had built special houses for the families to stay in while their Soldier recovered. They are called Fisher Houses. I shit you not, he pulled out his checkbook to build one.

To anyone who thinks that nobody can fight like the Equalizer does, I know a 5' 5" martial arts instructor who defended himself against nine bullies at the same time in Philadelphia's Fishtown section. He escaped with nary a scratch but the bullies had broken bones, lacerations, contusions, and (worst of all) permanently injured pride. A life lesson: NEVER provoke anyone because he might just be as good as that instructor.
